AFP Offers CTP and FPAC Credits Through the Treasury Career Corner Podcast
Partnership bolsters AFP’s efforts to expand continuing education opportunities for CTP and FPAC holders
ROCKVILLE, Md. — June 25, 2025 — The Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) announced a partnership with the Treasury Recruitment Company to offer Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and Certified Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis Professional (FPAC) credits for select eligible episodes of the Treasury Career Corner Podcast.
"At AFP, we know that continuous learning drives career success,” said Pat Culkin, incoming President & CEO of AFP. “We are committed to supporting learning opportunities that meet treasury professionals where they are. Our collaboration with the Treasury Career Corner podcast makes it easier for treasury professionals to stay sharp, no matter how busy their schedule is.”
“Professional development doesn’t have to be complicated or time-consuming,” said Mike Richards, CEO & Founder of The Treasury Recruitment Company. “Now, treasury professionals can learn, stay connected, and earn credits while fitting it around their day – whether that’s during a commute, a workout, or a walk with the dog.”
With over 375 episodes and 175,000+ downloads, the Treasury Career Corner podcast is one of the leading resources for global treasury professionals, featuring in-depth interviews with senior treasury leaders, technical advice and career-building insights. The podcast is hosted by Richards, an active supporter of the CTP credential, who will be speaking at AFP 2025, taking place October 26-29, in Boston.
The CTP credential, sponsored by AFP, serves as a benchmark of competency in the finance profession and is recognised as the leading credential in corporate treasury worldwide. It signifies that treasury practitioners have demonstrated the knowledge and skills required to effectively execute critical functions related to corporate liquidity, capital and risk management.
The FPAC credential, also sponsored by AFP, establishes a set of core competencies for the corporate financial planning and analysis profession. Certified FPAC professionals naturally step to the forefront as financial experts, strategic communicators and trusted advisors to the business.
